Yes, Casey and I are home and very tan. We had a great time in Ambergris Caye and would recommend it to anyone. We absolutely loved the Victoria House! The service was five star, the scenery breath taking and the people could not have been nicer. We snorkeled, went fishing and got a couples massage. The best part was that we didn't have to leave the resort to do any of it!
We did venture into San Pedro almost every night. We ate at some really good places and went out to some fun bars. I will say, the city was much more third world than I imagined. It was very dirty and run down. I don't think I would recommend any place near the city to stay. In fact, most people we met said the Victoria House was the best place on the island. The other down side was the bugs. I think Casey and I came home with a dozen mosquito bites each and we even wore bug spray!
All in all, it was a fantastic trip. All About Honeymoons was very organized in planning it. We did have a little confusion on the snorkeling trip. The information you sent did not include the name of the company we were suppose to go with. Luckily the front desk was able to narrow down the options and find out who we were with. Other than that, no complaints!
